Dukcapil Opens Services Throughout December

The Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Agency (Dukcapil) is committed to intensify services on the ownership of Jakarta population and civil registration documents through Bulan Layanan Dukcapil (month of service) throughout December.

To process them, we only need one hour

Jakarta Dukcapil Agency Head Dhany Sukma plans to open the service package to process birth certificate, personal identity number (NIK), family certificate and child identity card (KIA).

Based on the latest data dated on December 2-7, as many as 7,705 birth certificates or 96 percent out of 7,936 applicants have been processed within one hour.

While the 207 other requests have been completed within one day or 2.6 percent. Then 24 other birth certificates have been completed more than one day or 0.4 percent.

"If it is not finished in one day, our men will deliver the document to the applicant's house," he explained.

They will also hold jemput bola services for the people who cannot come to the service office and then provide other services in the community, in the school and in the mall.

They can also download the Avocado Betawi app in the Play Store to register online or update the population's biodata.

By doing so they no longer need to queue for too long to process documents.
